Create your Own T-Rex 

Part 1: Course Intro

In this course, you will get familiar with the important tools and materials that you need to be able to create your very own T-Rex Woolbuddy, such as felting needle, felting mat and wool roving. Jackie will also show you the model of the final project for this tutorial.

Part 2: Create the basic shapes and attach them together

In this video, you will learn how to get started by creating the basic shapes to form the parts of the T-Rex. You will learn how to make the body, tail and head and how to put them together. 

Part 3: Adding wool colors

In this video, you will learn how to add wool colors to the white base shape of your T-Rex. You will also learn some tricks how to create an even layer of color wool roving on the body parts.

Part 4: Sculpting 

In this video, you will learn how to add details to your project by sculpting. You will also learn some tips on how to use the felting needle to create the crease or deep line on the belly. 

Part 5: Making 2D and 3D arms

In this course, you can choose if you want to make a 2D or 3D arms for your T-Rex. You will learn how to create both 2D and 3D arms for your dinosaur.

Part 6: Creating the nose

In this course, you will learn how to make the nose shape and attach to the face. You will also learn how to add the color wool roving to make the nose more realistic. 

Part 7: Making the Woolbuddy signature teeth

In this course, you will learn how to make the unique Woolbuddy signature teeth for your T-Rex. You will also get some helpful tips to create your dino's perfect teeth.

Part 8: Adding the eyes

In this course, you will learn how to make the eyes for your woolbuddy. You will also learn some tips to create the eyes that tells a story. 

Part 9: Creating 2D & 3D spikes 

In this video, you will learn how to create 2D and 3D spikes or spots on the blank body parts, to give more details to your project. 

Part 10: Bonus: Creating legs and more felting tips

In this video, you will learn how to create the legs to complete the look of your dino woolbuddy project. You will also get more tips on felting.
